Pioneer empowers rural communities to become their own service providers, share that role with Pioneer, or position Pioneer as the service provider. At the end of the day the decision is the communities to make and Pioneer's to advocate. Once the decision is made, Pioneer will provide flexible, end-to-end support of local objectives through a model that works with a community, municipal utility, rural electric cooperative, public power entity, cable television company and others. Pioneer's support includes retail or wholesale offerings of products and services chosen from Pioneer's array of integrated communication and information products. Regional Interests Pioneer is prepared to facilitate discussions between communities who share regional geographic interests and who have common objectives for Communication and Information systems. Such communities may wish to share facilities and resources resulting in reduced capital expenditures and operating efficiencies per capita. Regional discussions may result is an opportunity to share capital, retail or wholesale telecom products and services, technical expertise, marketing or personnel.
